Camberley Homes has created a convenient new online process that allows interested homebuyers to register their interest for a homesite.
While this process will help maintain order and fairness, it is important that you understand the steps you need to take to participate and maintain your eligibility. If you have any questions, please reference the “Frequently Asked Questions” or contact a Camberley Team member.
Joining the Program
Beginning on December 1, simply complete the online registration form with all required fields. Depending on when you register, your position on the POP list will be determined:
By Lottery – During the initial registration period from December 1 to December 7, all registrants will be entered in a random lottery on December 8 at 2:00am EST. At that time, registrants will be randomly assigned a position on the POP List. Once the list order is established, you will receive an email notifying you of your position.
By First-Come, First-Serve – Beginning on December 8, new registrants will be added to the POP List on a first-come, first serve basis. Registrants will receive their position on the list immediately after joining the program.
Homesite Releases
When Camberley Homes is ready to release new homes in a community, we will send out an email to everyone on the POP list inviting them to participate in the upcoming release. This email will be sent out one week prior to the release. Once you receive this email, you will be given the choice to Accept, Defer or Decline.
Accept - you are interested in purchasing an available homesite. Regardless of your position in the POP list, this is your opportunity to express your interest and have a chance to purchase.
Defer - you are not interested in the released homesite(s), but are still interested in the community and would like to hold your position for the next release.
Decline - you are no longer interested in purchasing at the community and want to be removed from the program.
Important Note: Once you submit decline and confirm your selection, you will permanently lose your place in the system. Please use great care when selecting this option.
Accept, Defer, or Decline by Day Four
Once the email invitation is sent out, everyone on the list has 4 days to respond with Accept, Defer or Decline. If you do not respond to the email invitation within the 4 days timeframe, you will no longer be eligible for a homesite in the current release.
Maintaining Your Eligibility: Respond by Day Thirteen
If you miss the initial four day window to respond, you must still respond to the current invitation by Day 13 or we will assume that you are no longer interested in the community and you will be permanently removed from the system.
Determining Your Position for a Homesite Release
Three days before the homesites are released, the system will process the responses of all those registered. At that time, you will receive an email with your final standing for the current release. You may also login to the site for this information.
For those that Accept:
Depending on how many homesites are available in the current release, we will approach the first names on the POP list via email to invite them to the Information Center to select homesites and assign contract appointments. All contract appointments will be set up for the day of the release (seven days from the original email invitation asking you to Accept, Defer or Decline).
Important Note: If individuals at the top of the list decide not to purchase, we will continue to move through additional names on the list. Therefore, if you accepted, but were not originally among those at the top the of the list, you may still have an opportunity to purchase in the current release.
For those that Defer:
You will not be eligible for this release of homes, but you will retain your current position in the POP list.
For those that Decline:
Your name will be permanently removed from the POP list. Note: There is no way to re-establish your position in line once you decline, so please choose this option carefully.
Moving Up the POP List
As participants either purchase homes, Defer on a release, or Decline, registered homebuyers will continue to move forward in the system, so please continue to participate, regardless of your position, so that you may receive an opportunity to purchase!
